About me

I was born in Boston in the U.S. and raised in Taipei, Taiwan.

While I was studying computer science in college, I realized that I care more about why we build something and how to keep aligning with that goal while building it, instead of how to build things. So, in 2018, I stepped into the field of Human-Computer Interaction Design.

Since then, I have spent 2 years studying HCI in grad school, a summer interning at a start-up in the U.S., and almost 2 years designing the user experience of various novel products at ASUS in Taiwan.

I am and maybe will always be on the journey of learning more about design and exploring the kind of design work I experience the most joy and fulfillment in, and looking for the people I enjoy tackling challenges with :)

In my spare time, I love going to physical bookstores and spend hours shopping for books and, of course, reading them. I also love riding a bike in the riverside park watching clouds and sunsets. And I started taking piano lessons in 2022 when I decided to take action for my long-time genuine curiosity for music, and I've been enjoying the journey of learning more about it ever since ;)
